Users can create hyperlinks in discussion threads, comments and meeting descriptions. They are very helpful for sharing websites without cluttering your text with a long, messy link.
Currently, you cannot create a hyperlink in the location box of a meeting. This feature is on our Product Development Roadmap and will be available soon!
[Note] In this example, we are adding a link to a comment on a meeting.
The same steps can be followed wherever a hyperlink can be inserted.
Step 1: Navigate to where you want to insert a hyperlink (discussion thread, meeting description, comment, etc.)
Step 2: Add in the text for the hyperlink
We're going to link the text "St. Elmo's Steakhouse" to the restaurant's website.
Step 3: Highlight "St. Elmo's Steakhouse" and click the chain symbol (hyperlink) on the right side of the numbered list button in the toolbar.
Step 4: Enter the website you want to link the text to in the URL text field of the pop-up.
We recommend leaving the Title field blank and selecting open link in new window in the fourth dropdown field.
Selecting open link in current window will take the viewers to the website in the same tab they are currently in, and selecting open link in new window will open the website in a new tab.
Step 4: Click Save to add in the hyperlink!
Anyone who clicks on St. Elmo's Steakhouse in the comment will be taken to the restaurant's website!
