I. Overview of Agenda
A meeting agenda can only be created and edited by a Meeting Owner or Meeting Collaborators. Organization Admins (users with the Account Role of Administrator) can also create, edit, and delete agendas even if they are not a part of the meeting.
Agendas will only be visible to Meeting Members and Meeting Observers included in the meeting once the meeting is fully published. If the meeting has only been published to the calendar, the agenda will only be visible to the Meeting Owner / Collaborators.
There are currently two options for building a meeting agenda:
Build from scratch
Use an agenda template
II. Build Agenda From Scratch
To build a meeting agenda from scratch:
Navigate to the meeting and open to its meeting page
Click Build Agenda in the right navigation panel
Click Start from Scratch
The cursor will be in the first box - enter a title for the first agenda item and click Add
The agenda is saved as you go, you may notice a green checkmark briefly appear each time you click Add to show that it has been saved
The cursor automatically moves to the next agenda item, repeat the process until all items are entered
Each agenda item can have two sub-levels; click the + sign to continue adding
To enter additional detail about the agenda item, click on the item / section name
Options will be displayed in the right navigation panel, including the following:
Text (to change the agenda item verbiage)
People responsible
Duration
Description
Upload Documents (please refer to Related Articles for additional information)
Make changes to each of the relevant items and click Save
Important: if Save is not clicked, none of the changes will occur
If this section is no longer needed, click Delete
Once the first agenda item is entered, some menu options appear above the right navigation panel
View Agenda
View as PDF
Agenda Settings (update list type)
Save as Template (save layout to use as a template for the future)
Clear (delete everything in order to start over)
III. Build Agenda From Template
Boardable provides some basic agenda templates. Over time, as new agendas are created within your organization and saved as templates, the customized agenda templates available to choose from will grow.
To build a meeting agenda from a template:
Navigate to the Meeting Page
Click Build Agenda in the right navigation panel
Click Start with a Template
Click on a template listed in the left to view a preview of that template on the right
Select the template desired and click Use Template
Click on an agenda item name and update the details in the right navigation panel
Options will be displayed in the right navigation panel, including the following:
Text (to change the agenda item verbiage)
People responsible
Duration
Description
Upload Documents (please refer to Related Articles for additional information)
Make changes to each of the relevant items and click Save
Important: if Save is not clicked, none of the changes will occur
If this section is no longer needed, click Delete

IV. Edit / Delete Agenda Items
Whether the agenda is created from scratch or a template, the process to update agenda items is the same.
From the meeting page, click Edit Agenda in the right menu panel and perform any of the following:
Change the list type
Click Agenda Settings above the right navigation panel
Select the list style desired - options include numbers, letters, roman numerals, and combinations
Click Save
Rename an agenda item
Click on the agenda item to display the details of the item in the right navigation panel
Change the entry in the Text box and click Save
Add or remove documents on an agenda item
Click on the agenda item to display the details of the item in the right navigation panel
Click the X next to the document name to delete the document
Click on one of the upload document options to add another document
Click Save (this is important to ensure the agenda is updated properly for the Board Packet)
Assign individuals to an agenda item
Click on the agenda item to display the details of the item in the right navigation panel
Enter the person / people responsible in the People Responsible box and click Save
Assign duration
Click on the agenda item to display the details of the item in the right navigation panel
Click the Duration drop-down box to choose the number of minutes the item should be allowed
Click Save
Move an Agenda Item
To move sections up and down, hover over the section name until you see the double arrow cross, then click, hold, drag, and drop (the numbering will automatically adjust and change will be saved)
Delete Agenda Item
Click on the agenda item to display the details of the item in the right navigation panel
Click Delete in the right navigation panel
Note that any sub items associated with the item selected will be deleted
Click OK to confirm delete or Cancel to back out
Headers / Footers
At this time it is not possible to make changes to the header and footer of the meeting agenda
V Clear Agenda and Start Over
To completely delete the current agenda and start over:
Navigate to the meeting page
Click Edit Agenda from the right menu panel
Click Clear in the upper right
The Are you sure? pop-up window will appear
Click OK to clear the agenda and start over or Cancel if hit by accident
The agenda has been completely cleared and the option to Start From Scratch or Start with a Template will appear
