I. Create Calendar Events

If invitees do not see calendar events for Boardable meetings in their personal calendars, this means the meeting’s email invitations are not yet sent.

To fix this, an admin can send the invitations. This automatically creates calendar invitations.

To learn how to send invites, please see Related Articles.

II. Update Incorrect Calendar Events

Note: re-sending meeting invites causes all invitees to receive meeting update notifications; this cannot be limited to a small subset of invitees.

If the time, date, or attendees listed on a calendar event for a meeting do not match the details set in Boardable, re-sending invites for the meeting may correct these discrepancies.

To do so:

  1. Navigate to the meeting page whose calendar events do not display the expected details

  2. Click More Actions

  3. Click Re-send meeting invites

  4. Click Send

    1. Invitees are sent new copies of invite email; this should update their calendar events

III. Remove Calendar Events Post-Deletion

Note: re-sent cancellation notifications are sent to all invitees; this cannot be limited to a small subset of invitees.

When a meeting is deleted, events for this meeting should be removed from invitees' calendars automatically.

However, if invitees experience persistent or duplicate calendar events following a deletion, it may be possible to fix this by re-sending cancellation notifications.

To do so:

  1. Click Meetings from Boardable's main menu panel

  2. Click the Deleted tab

    1. A list of deleted meetings populates beneath this

  3. Click Re-send Cancellation Email next to the desired meeting

    1. Cancellation email notification is re-sent

    2. Re-send Cancellation Email button turns green, and its text changes to Cancellation Email Sent

      1. Invitees are sent new copies of the cancellation notification for this meeting; this should remove the event from their calendars

IV. Change Receiving Email Address / Calendar

Only the login address can receive calendar invites, and only the calendar associated with this address can have Boardable events automatically created on it.

To change the email address which receives calendar invites and events, change the login address. To learn how to do this, please see Related Articles.

Admins cannot update the login address of others after the first login. Each person can make this update within their own settings. To learn how to do this, please see Related Articles.

Events for Boardable meetings are only added to calendars associated with invitees' login addresses at the time invites are sent.

If a meeting invitee's login address is changed after they are invited to a meeting, no event is automatically created on the new address's calendar.

To create these events, an admin, meeting creator, or meeting administrator must re-send invitations for the desired meetings.
