About Meeting Guests
Do you need to invite people from outside your organization to attend a meeting in Boardable? Invite them as guests!
Guests are given temporary, meeting-specific access to Boardable. Guests are not added to your organization; they can only join the meetings you invite them to attend.
Guests receive email invitations and meeting updates. They can use videoconferencing features and consult a meeting's agenda and minutes. They cannot use other features of the Boardable platform.
Add Guests to a New Meeting
- Select Meetings from the main menu, and then select Add Meeting.
- Select Guests.
- Enter the guest's first name, last name, and email address.
- Select Add Guest button.
- Select Finish.
To remove a guest, hover over their name in the Guests roster, and then select Remove.
Add Guests to Existing Meeting
- Select Meetings from the main menu, and then select the relevant meeting.
- Select Edit (✏️)
- If editing a recurring meeting, select either Edit this meeting or Edit full series.
- Select Guests.
- Enter the guest's first name, last name, and email address.
- Select Add guest.
- Select Finish.
- Select Save to save the change without sending the guest an invitation. Select Save and notify invitees to send an invitation.
Note: Sending guests an invitation will also send a meeting update to previously invited people. It's not possible to disable these updates.
Troubleshooting
You cannot add members of your organization (Boardable users) as guests. Invite such members using the Invitees panel in the meeting builder.
