Add Video Conferencing

Before You Begin

You can add Boardable Video, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or another video conferencing service when creating a meeting.

To use Zoom or Microsoft Teams, you must first connect the provider to your individual Boardable account.

Video Conferencing Options

  • Boardable Video: Use Boardable’s built-in video conferencing directly within your meeting. Boardable Video meetings have a maximum duration of 3 hours.
  • Zoom: Automatically create a Zoom room for the meeting. You must connect Zoom to your individual Boardable account.
  • Microsoft Teams: Automatically create a Microsoft Teams meeting. You must connect Microsoft Teams to your individual Boardable account.
  • Custom: Create the meeting using another conferencing provider, then copy and paste its meeting URL into Boardable.

Add Video Conferencing

  1. Open the Create a New Meeting menu.
  2. Find Location and Video. Boardable Video is selected by default.
  3. To use another provider, select Other Video from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select an available option:
    • Choose Zoom or Microsoft Teams if you connected the provider to your individual account.
    • Choose the custom option and enter the meeting URL to use another provider.
  5. Complete the remaining meeting details and save the meeting.

When you select Zoom or Microsoft Teams, Boardable automatically adds the video conferencing link to the calendar invitation after you create the meeting.

Note: Boardable Video meetings can last up to 3 hours. Select another video conferencing option if your meeting will last longer.
