June 2026

Everything we released in June 2026: the new Agenda Builder, Agenda Approval Workflows, reworked Support chat access, and a long list of fixes.

June 30, 2026

AI assistant improvements and a clearer scheduling poll button.

AI Assistant improvements

A range of under-the-hood improvements to the AI features across the app, making responses smarter and more useful.

  • The in-meeting AI assistant now has access to documents attached to the meeting, for more relevant and informed responses during your meeting
  • Boardable Video AI meeting summaries are more accurate, with more consistent output quality
  • General AI conversation memory and response quality improvements across several areas of the app

Resolved Issues

  • The Send Scheduling Poll button now changes to Re-Send Scheduling Poll once a poll has been sent, so it is clear whether the poll already went out.

June 28, 2026

A fix for duplicated meeting series on external calendars, plus two smaller fixes.

Resolved Issues

  • Updating a meeting series “from this date forward” starting from a meeting other than the first no longer creates duplicate calendar events for invitees. The calendar invite was also missing timezone data, which could cause Google Calendar and Outlook to mishandle the update and leave attendees with both the old and new versions of the meeting. Note that this fix does not remove duplicate series that already exist on attendees’ calendars.
  • An organization’s Public Site is now properly disabled when a trial account converts to a Freemium plan.
  • Clicking Board Management in the app switcher while already in Board Management no longer lands on an error page.

Usability improvements and fixes across the Agenda Builder, Boardable Video, Document Center, and reporting.

Motions and Votes reporting

The Votes reporting tab is now called Motions and Votes, and the filters are ordered more logically — Report Type first, then Group or User depending on the selection, then Timeframe.

Private badge in the Boardable Video agenda

Agenda items marked as Private now display the Private badge in the Boardable Video agenda view.

Resolved Issues

  • The individual file download button in the Document Center works again, so files can be downloaded directly from the document list without a workaround.
  • The agenda item description editor now validates hyperlink URLs before saving. Empty or invalid links are flagged instead of becoming blue text that goes nowhere, and links can now be set to open in a new tab.
  • The Summary & Recording tab shows a clear in-progress state while a Boardable Video meeting is happening or a transcript is still processing, rather than settings that do not apply yet.
  • Pro Plus users see clearer messaging when external transcript and recording uploads are turned off. Admins are pointed to their organization settings to re-enable the feature, and non-admins are told to contact their organization’s administrator.

June 22, 2026

Wider agenda descriptions on the Public Site, Surveys fixes, and updated End User Terms of Use.

Wider agenda item descriptions on the Public Site

Agenda item description text on the Public Site now uses the full width of the card, matching the layout already used by motions and votes. Descriptions previously wrapped early, which made longer agenda content harder to read.

Updated End User Terms of Use

Boardable’s End User Terms of Use have been updated to the current version published at boardable.com/end-user-terms. Existing users and customers are not prompted to re-accept them; only new users signing up for the first time accept the updated terms.

Resolved Issues

  • Exporting or downloading the PDF analysis from the Responses tab in Surveys now generates the correct PDF instead of a snapshot of the Results page.
  • Clicking Send & Track from the Track tab in Surveys now goes to the intended destination instead of redirecting to the accounts page.

June 16, 2026

A reworked way to reach Support, plus fixes for meetings, RSVPs, agendas, and Document Center sorting.

Support chat access improvements

Reaching Support is now more consistent across the app.

  • The Support dropdown in the left nav has been replaced with a dedicated Contact Support button in the bottom-left nav that opens the support chat
  • Support chat is now available in Boardable Video from the support chat icon in the left sidebar
  • The Help Center is linked at the bottom of the Support chat widget when you return to your conversation history

“Remote” RSVP option on the Member Meeting Page

Members can now select a Remote RSVP directly on the Member Meeting Page, matching the option already available on the Meeting Prep page.

Resolved Issues

  • Sorting preferences in the Document Center — home, folders, and subfolders — now persist when you navigate away and come back.
  • Switching an existing meeting’s video option to Zoom now surfaces the Zoom link in the app, even if invites have not been sent yet.
  • You can highlight text in an agenda item description and create or edit a hyperlink from the editor toolbar again.
  • A meeting’s Location now displays on the Member Meeting Page and matches the value entered when the meeting was created. When no location is set, the field is omitted from both the Member Meeting Page and the Meeting Prep page.

June 13, 2026

More reliable Boardable Video calls and a fix for email discussion replies.

More reliable Boardable Video calls

We upgraded our video calling engine to improve reliability for members joining meetings from certain networks, including automatic failover to backup domains when the primary hostname cannot be reached.

  • Nothing changes in the meeting itself — camera, microphone, chat, participants, network stats, and settings all behave as before

Resolved Issues

  • Replying to a discussion notification email now always posts under the correct account. The sender is matched against a member’s primary email address first, before any secondary notification addresses.

June 7, 2026

Agenda Builder is now reachable from the app switcher for members.

Resolved Issues

  • Members in organizations with access to Agenda Builder now see Agenda Builder in the app switcher. Previously they could only reach it by opening a meeting and editing the agenda directly.

June 5, 2026

Discussion improvements, multi-day meeting minutes ordering, and an agenda PDF fix.

Resolved Issues

  • Deleting a discussion from the Discussions tab now moves you to the next discussion in the list instead of showing a generic empty state, and opening a removed discussion from an email link shows a clear “Discussion has been removed” message.
  • Meeting minutes generated from a multi-day agenda now follow the agenda order for each day, with each day’s content clearly distinguished instead of appearing merged or out of sequence.
  • The agenda now appears on page 1 of the agenda PDF immediately after the meeting details, with no unexpected page break pushing the agenda to page 2.

June 2, 2026

Two major additions — a completely redesigned Agenda Builder and Agenda Approval Workflows — plus agenda access and Google Drive fixes.

Agenda Builder

A completely redesigned agenda building experience that makes it faster and easier to create, organize, and manage meeting agendas. Administrators get a modern, intuitive interface to build agendas from scratch or from saved templates, all within the platform.

  • Build agendas directly within the platform with a streamlined, purpose-built editor
  • Create agendas from existing templates to save time
  • Assign agenda item owners directly from the builder
  • Clear visibility into agenda status before and during publication

Agenda Approval Workflows (Pro Plus)

Organizations can now put a formal, multi-stage approval process behind meeting agenda items, bringing governance, accountability, and compliance tracking directly into the platform.

  • Assign approval trees to agenda items. Administrators configure which items require approval and define who must approve them, in what order. Items without an approval tree are automatically marked ready.
  • Owners are notified and can act. When an admin opens items for action, item owners receive an email with a direct link to their item. Owners can edit content, attach documents, and submit when ready, which triggers the approval chain.
  • Approvals run sequentially. Each approver is notified when it is their turn and can approve, edit and approve, or reject. Item owners receive a full summary notification once the workflow is complete.
  • Admin overrides are available. Administrators can override any step in an approval tree when time-sensitive situations require it, with the action recorded in the audit trail.
  • Publishing is gated on approval. An agenda cannot be published while any item with an active approval tree is still in progress. Once all items are approved or marked ready, publishing is unblocked.
  • Status visibility at a glance. Filterable status cards at the top of the agenda let admins see what is approved, what is under review, and what is still pending without scrolling through the full agenda.

New customers on qualifying plans have access starting June 2, 2026.

Resolved Issues

  • Logged-in users are no longer redirected to an unauthenticated agenda page when opening an agenda link. This affected the new Agenda Builder only.
  • Google Drive documents added to a group document center now display correctly in the web app.
  • Edits made to a Google Drive file attached to an agenda now appear in the Board Packet once it is regenerated, with no need to delete and re-upload the document.
