About Roles in Boardable Video

Users can have one of two roles in Boardable Video, admin or attendee. These roles are separate from and subordinate to the global account roles assigned during account creation.

Organization admins, meeting owners, and meeting collaborators automatically inherit admin permissions in Boardable Video sessions. Other participants, such as observers and guests, can be promoted from attendee to admin status.

To see a person's Boardable Video role:

  1. Join a Boardable Video session.

  2. Select People from the menu at the bottom of the screen.

    1. A list of meeting participants appears.

  3. Look for the admin icon next to a participant's name.

Admins in Boardable Video are indicated by a person icon with a gear on it.

    1. Participants with this icon are admins and may be hosts.

    2. Participants without this icon are attendees.
