Before You Begin

Canceling a paid Boardable subscription requires written notice and coordination with your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or account manager. Your account remains active through the end of the current billing period, giving you time to download documents and prepare for the transition.

Boardable retains your data after cancellation, which allows you to restore access if you reactivate your account in the future.


Prerequisites

Before canceling your subscription, make sure you meet the following requirements:

  • You are an admin on the account

  • You know your renewal date

  • You have access to email to submit written notice


Cancel a Paid Subscription

  1. Contact your Customer Success Manager or account manager.

    • Send a written cancellation request by email.

    • Submit the request at least 30 days before your renewal date to avoid additional charges.

  2. Confirm the cancellation timeline.

    • Your CSM confirms the effective cancellation date based on your billing cycle.

  3. Download important documents and files.

    • Export any documents, meeting materials, or records you want to keep before the subscription ends.

    • Once the account is fully canceled, you can no longer access the platform.

  4. Verify cancellation confirmation.

    • Follow up if needed to ensure your request has been received and processed.


Result

Your subscription is scheduled for cancellation, and your account remains accessible until the end of the current billing period. After that date, access is disabled.


Troubleshooting

I missed the 30-day notice window
You may be charged for the next billing period. Contact your CSM as soon as possible to discuss options.

I forgot to download my files
Access to the platform ends after cancellation. If needed, contact your CSM to ask about temporary reactivation options.

I want to return to Boardable later
Your data is retained and becomes available again if you reactivate your account.
