I. Comment Notification, but No Comment
If an email or in-app notification is received for a comment, and this comment is absent from the discussion itself, the cause is that this comment was deleted after it was posted.
Comments can be deleted by their posters, by the person who started the discussion, or by admins added to the discussion.
The content of this comment can still be viewed in any email notifications received for it.
II. Admin Cannot View Expected Discussions
Only users who are added to a discussion can access it from the Discussions option on the main menu panel.
This is true even for admins. Discussions admins aren't added to are not listed in the Discussions directory.
There are a couple options to access the content of these discussions:
-
Another person can add the wanted admin to these discussions. This can be done by the person who started the discussion, or by other admins already added to it.
-
To learn how one of these can add to the discussion participant list, please see Related Articles
-
-
The content of discussions and all their comments, even those an admin isn't added to, can be viewed by all admins via a Discussion Report
-
For Professional and Enterprise account, this is true for all discussions
-
For other accounts, this is true only for discussions in the past 90 days
