Before You Begin

The document center provides a centralized library for storing and managing your organization’s key files. You can upload documents from your device or from cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive.

Admins can manage every file in the document center. Members can manage only the files they uploaded.


Supported File Types

Boardable converts uploaded files to PDF for consistent viewing. Files must be 250 MB or smaller.

Upload Files From Your Device

  1. Select Documents from the main menu.

  2. Select New → Upload File.

  3. Drag a file into the Drop files here… field, or select the field to open a file picker.

    • For ZIP files, select Unzip file after uploading to upload the contents individually.

  4. Optional: Enter a title and add notes to describe the file.

  5. Optional: Select Disable Downloads to make the file view-only.

  6. Enter the names of people or groups to notify.

  7. Select Save.

Callout: You can also drag and drop files directly into the document center. These uploads skip notification options and must be edited later to add notes or adjust permissions.


Upload Files From Cloud Services

You can upload files from Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.

  1. Select Documents from the main menu.

  2. Select New, then choose Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.

  3. Sign in to the selected service and allow access.

  4. Select one or more files from the file picker.

    • Note: You cannot import entire folders—only files stored in a folder.

  5. Select Choose or Select to upload the files.

Files uploaded from cloud services display a source icon (for example, a Dropbox logo) on the file thumbnail.


Share, Move, or Delete Files

  1. Select Documents from the main menu.

  2. Use the icons to the left of any file to share, download, move, or delete it.

  3. Choose an option:

Share

  • Share the file with an individual or group.

Download

  • Save a copy to your device.

Move

  • Place the file into an existing folder.

Delete

  • Permanently remove the file. Deleted files cannot be restored.

Troubleshooting

I want to upload files from a cloud service but no sign-in window appears.
Pop-up blockers may prevent the authentication window from opening. Allow third-party pop-ups for Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.

I don’t see the More actions button for a file.
You can edit a file only if you are an admin or the original uploader.
