October 27, 2026

Updated Boardable.AI feature names, a dedicated Follow Up tab on the meeting page, clearer AI settings, and Ask Boardable, now in early access.

Boardable.AI feature names

The Boardable.AI features now go by Intelligent Agendas, Meeting Assistant, Auto Minutes, Follow Up, and Ask Boardable. You will see the new names throughout the product.

  • The Agenda Builder button “Draft with AI” is now “Draft with Intelligent Agendas”
  • The Minutes tab and its generate and edit actions now use the Auto Minutes name
  • The admin AI Conversations page is now Ask Boardable
  • “Recap and Follow-up” is now “Recap and Recording,” keeping summaries and recordings separate from the Follow Up conversation

See the Boardable.AI Overview for a guide to each feature.

Dedicated Follow Up tab

Follow Up now has its own full-page tab on the meeting page. Choosing “Ask about this” from a recap section opens Follow Up with that section’s context already loaded.

  • The meeting and Meeting Prep pages explain when Follow Up is available before, during, and after a meeting, including when a recording is still processing or missing
  • Copy any individual assistant response with one click
  • Organizations without Boardable.AI see an introduction to Follow Up when leaving a Boardable Video call

Clearer AI settings and nudge controls

The AI options in Organization Settings have new labels that make it clearer what each one controls.

  • Enable Boardable.AI for meetings covers all four meeting AI features plus transcript-based summaries
  • Allow attachments in Ask Boardable replies controls whether replies include attached documents or links
  • Send Ask Boardable nudges controls personalized pre-meeting check-ins to selected members
  • Needs assistance notifications selects which admins receive alerts, including nudge opt-out requests. All admins keep access to conversations

The nudge button and dialog are now labeled “Manage Ask Boardable nudges.” Members can still email Ask Boardable when nudges are off, eligible members receive a one-time welcome email when nudges are turned on, and changes take effect when you click Submit.

Other improvements

  • Meeting assistants can now reference recorded motions and votes, based on each member’s access
  • Assistant responses are less likely to promise actions they cannot perform
  • Notification settings now clarify that choosing “Never” still allows calendar invitations and admin-enabled Ask Boardable nudges

A refreshed iOS and Android app with a redesigned Boardable Video experience, real-time discussions, SSO sign-in, dark mode, and easier access to meetings and materials.

Redesigned Boardable Video experience

Boardable Video has a redesigned interface in the mobile app, with a native experience for starting and joining calls.

  • Updated camera and audio setup
  • Updated meeting controls

Real-time discussions

Discussion messages in the mobile app now update in real time.

  • In-app notifications for new comments
  • Unread notification badges
  • Emoji reactions on messages

Sign in with SSO

Members of organizations that use SAML single sign-on can now sign in to the mobile app through their organization’s SSO provider.

Refreshed look and dark mode

Updated styling brings the mobile app closer to the web experience, with layout improvements for iPads and tablets.

  • Dark mode is now available; the app stays in light mode unless you switch it

Easier access to meetings and materials

Upcoming and past meetings are easier to find in the mobile app, and multi-day meetings now show every meeting date with its materials, including the board packet for each day.

  • Searchable meeting lists that load faster
  • Clearer RSVP badges
  • A “happening now” indicator for meetings in progress

Resolved Issues

  • Board packets that were missing from the mobile app now appear, and document viewing has been improved on both iOS and Android.
  • Members can now create polls in the mobile app with the same permissions they have on the web.
  • Long group lists in the mobile app can now be scrolled all the way through.
  • When a meeting switches from Zoom to Boardable Video, the mobile app now shows the correct video option.

Zoom reconnect prompts, plus fixes for survey analysis, list formatting in agenda PDFs, and agenda templates.

Zoom disconnects now prompt you to reconnect

A disconnected Zoom integration no longer stops working without warning. When Boardable detects a disconnect for someone who owns Zoom meetings, it lets them know so they can reconnect.

  • They receive an in-app notification linking to their integration settings
  • Integration settings show a disconnected message and a Reconnect button
  • The notification is in-app only; no email is sent

Resolved Issues

  • Radio Button answers in surveys now count toward Analysis as well as appearing under Responses, so choice counts and percentages are complete. Answers keep their original labels and counts even if a choice is later removed from the survey. This is a go-forward fix, so responses submitted earlier may still be missing from Analysis — contact Support to see whether they can be restored.
  • Numbered and bulleted lists in agenda item descriptions now line up with the surrounding text in the Agenda PDF, with consistent indentation and spacing. The same formatting applies to lists in the meeting description shown in the PDF header.
  • Saving an agenda as a template no longer copies its attached documents, so meeting-specific attachments don’t carry into future meetings. Agenda content and item structure still carry over. Documents already copied into existing templates are not removed automatically, so remove them from those templates by hand.
