[2026](https://docs.boardable.com/knowledge/release-notes?hsLang=en#2026) # September 2026 ## Everything we released in September 2026: Microsoft Teams room booking, richer agenda PDF headers, accessibility on Live Display, auto-filled motion text, and a long list of fixes. ### September 16, 2026 Auto-filled motion text, a publish-first prompt for out-of-date board packets, and fixes across the Public Page, Public Site policy links, agenda templates, and Minutes PDFs. **Motion text fills in from the agenda item** Picking an agenda item in the New Vote form now fills the Motion field with “Motion to approve \[agenda item\]”. - The text stays fully editable, and once you have written your own motion text, switching agenda items will not overwrite it - If you have not customized the text, changing the agenda item updates it to match **Out-of-date board packets prompt you to publish first** Regenerating a board packet while agenda changes were still unpublished produced a packet without those changes. The out-of-date banner now spells out the order of operations. - The banner now reads “Be sure to publish your updates before regenerating, or changes won’t be included” - If the meeting has unpublished agenda updates, Regenerate opens a “Publish your updates first” prompt, and the board packet regenerates automatically once you publish - Closing the prompt without publishing leaves the packet untouched, and Regenerate works exactly as before when nothing is pending **Resolved Issues** - Freemium organizations can open a meeting’s Public Page again, along with the view, download, and PDF links for its documents. - Agenda documents now appear on the Public Page for organizations on the legacy Agenda Builder. If you have never picked specific documents, every document on the published agenda shows; your selection survives publishing agenda updates, and the Public Page only ever shows the published agenda. - Copied policy manual links now open directly on the selected section or item, including item codes that contain periods, and the page no longer jumps away from the linked item as attached PDFs finish loading. - Agenda Templates no longer accept a sub-item longer than its parent item. The Duration field shows the minimum and maximum available and will not save outside that range. Templates already saved with an invalid duration are not corrected automatically — edit the sub-item’s duration to within the limit shown and save. - Attendance notes in Meeting Minutes now print as plain text in the PDF, and a note that is empty or only spaces is left out entirely. This is a go-forward fix, so minutes already affected need a small edit and re-save. ### September 10, 2026 An accessibility widget on the casted Live Display view, plus fixes for motions, invitation emails, scheduler response counts, and Agenda Builder permissions. **Accessibility widget on the casted Live Display view** The accessibility widget now loads on the casted, public-facing view of Live Display, so it meets the same accessibility standard as the rest of Boardable’s public site. - It sits in the bottom-right corner, matching its placement on the Public Site, and opens the full accessibility menu — contrast, bigger text, screen reader, and more - It is available before the meeting starts, while it is live, and after it ends, and stays clear of the agenda item, motion, and vote content **Resolved Issues** - Add Motion now appears on top-level agenda items in Live Display whether or not they have sub-items, so a motion can be recorded and voted on at the parent level. - For meetings using a third-party video link, the “Visit Boardable” link in the invitation email now opens the meeting page instead of the video call. The video link is still listed separately under Join and Web Conference. - A proposed date in the meeting scheduler always shows a response count — either “0 responses” or the number of members who marked it available — even after someone withdraws their availability. - Meeting Collaborators and Group Admins can now edit any agenda item in the new Agenda Builder, not only the items they own. - The People directory now shows “Send Invite” when every selected user is “Not yet invited,” and “Resend Invite” when any selected user has already been sent an invite. ### September 3, 2026 Book a Microsoft Teams room from Boardable, and see meeting time, location, and description in the agenda PDF. **Select a Microsoft Teams room when scheduling a meeting** Meeting organizers can now pick a physical Teams room while scheduling a Boardable meeting, and Boardable books it on the room’s Outlook calendar automatically — no more reserving the room separately in Outlook. - A Microsoft Teams Room dropdown appears when you create or edit a meeting, listing the rooms published in your organization’s Microsoft tenant. Selecting a room also fills in the meeting location. - The room is added to the calendar invite as a room attendee, and the booking request is sent to the room’s mailbox so the reservation lands on the room’s calendar - Available with business or organizational Microsoft accounts; personal Microsoft accounts have no room directory - Rolling out gradually — contact your Customer Success Manager to have it enabled for your organization. Rooms also need to exist as bookable room resources in your Microsoft 365 tenant. **Agenda PDF now shows meeting time, location, and description** The Agenda PDF header now carries more of the meeting details. - The header shows the meeting time alongside the date, along with the meeting’s time zone - Meeting location and description now appear in the header - New Show Location and Show Meeting Description toggles have been added to the Header & Footer section of the Agenda Builder Format page - Both toggles are on by default, so existing meeting and template formats will start showing these fields unless you turn them off ### September 2, 2026 Boardable Video recordings and transcripts stay accessible after a downgrade. **Resolved Issues** - Recordings and transcripts created while Boardable Video was active now remain accessible after Boardable Video is removed, downgraded, or disabled on an account, so historical recordings and transcripts are no longer lost. -
