About this task
Cloud storage integrations let you share individual files directly into Boardable without downloading them first. These files can be linked to the Document Center, group pages, meeting pages, or as agenda attachments.
These integrations are best for sharing single documents that do not need to be included in a board packet. If you need to upload folders, or if a file must be included in a packet, download the content to your device first and then upload it to Boardable.
Google Drive
Files linked from Google Drive can be both viewed and edited within Boardable.

Only individual files can be added. Folders are not supported.

To upload a folder, download it to your device, then upload to Boardable.

Files added through Google Drive cannot be included in board packets. To include them, download the file to your device and attach it directly to the agenda.

Comments can be left on live documents in the Document Center only. Comments are not available when a Google Drive file is attached to an agenda item or uploaded in the meeting’s document area.
Dropbox
Files linked from Dropbox can be viewed in Boardable but not edited.

Only individual files can be added. Folders are not supported.

To upload a folder, download it to your device, then upload to Boardable.

Files added through Dropbox cannot be included in board packets. To include them, download the file to your device and attach it directly to the agenda.
OneDrive
Boardable supports two types of file connections from OneDrive/SharePoint: copied files and live imports. Both options support adding one or multiple individual files, and both allow files to be included in board packets. Folders cannot be imported.

Copied files

Represent a static version of the file at the time of import.

Later edits in OneDrive do not update the version in Boardable.

Files cannot be edited but can be annotated in Boardable.

A View original button appears next to the file name in the Document Center.

Live imports

Stay synced with the version in OneDrive. Updates made in OneDrive are reflected in Boardable.

Files cannot be edited in Boardable but can be commented on.

Comments can be left on live documents in the Document Center only. Comments are not available when a OneDrive file is attached to an agenda item or uploaded in the meeting’s document area.

Live documents display a Live document tag next to the file name in the Document Center.
