Organization admins can opt to generate transcripts and summaries for Boardable Video conferencing sessions via AI.
Use of these features is completely optional. By default, these features are disabled. To use them, turn them on within organization settings.
These features can be enabled for all meetings, or for none, and for all users in the organization, or for none.
Meeting-specific and user-specific preferences are not supported for transcripts and summaries.
The transcript provides a text record of Boardable Video audio. The audio feed of users who joined via the web app, desktop app, or mobile app is listed by speaker name. The audio feed of any who join via dial-in is listed by speaker phone number.

Transcripts and summaries cannot be deleted independently of the meeting page. To remove a transcript from the platform, delete the meeting page. To learn the effects of deleting a meeting page, and how to do so, please see Related Articles.
Transcripts and summaries are not based on recordings. A transcript can be captured and summarized even for un-recorded meetings or meeting segments. To prevent transcripts and summaries, disable these features in organization settings.
These features are available on all paid plans, and on the free trial.
II. Enable Transcripts & Summaries
Only organization admins can enable or disable transcripts and summaries.
To enable transcripts:
Click Settings on the leftmost menu
Organization settings open
Click the Transcription & AI tab from the center of the screen
Click the toggle beneath Transcription to turn this on.
Transcripts are generated for all meetings after step 3 is done which use Boardable Video
To enable Summaries:
Click Settings on the leftmost menu
Organization settings open
Click the Transcription & AI tab from the center of the screen
Click the toggle beneath AI settings to turn this on
Transcripts are generated for all meetings after step 3 is done which use Boardable Video
To disable transcripts or summaries:
Click Settings on the leftmost menu
Organization settings open
Click the Transcription & AI tab from the center of the screen
Click the toggles beneath Transcription and / or AI settings to turn these fields off
Transcripts and summaries are not generated for any meeting after step 3 is done
III. View Transcripts and Summaries
To view AI-generated transcripts and summaries as an admin:
Open a meeting page

IV. Add Transcript / Summary to Minutes
Transcript and summary text cannot be automatically added to the Minutes of a meeting.
To add an AI-generated summary or any part of the transcript to the Minutes, copy and paste the desired text.
