About Ask Boardable

Important: Ask Boardable is in early access and available to a limited number of organizations.

Before You Begin

Ask Boardable is part of Boardable.AI. It lets admins, members, and observers request meeting information and handle board work by email, without logging in. Access is limited to the information each person has permission to view.

Email ask@boardable.ai with a request. Ask Boardable replies in the same email thread.

Ask Boardable can also send reminders about upcoming meetings, including outstanding RSVPs and unread board packets. Reminders are bundled into a single message to reduce the number of emails members receive.

What You Can Ask

Use Ask Boardable to:

Get meeting details, including the schedule, agenda, minutes, and meeting attachments.
RSVP to a meeting.
Look up your own tasks and polls.
Ask how to do something in Boardable.

Ask Boardable uses meeting context to answer requests. If a request falls outside its supported scope, it explains the limitation and offers alternatives.

Important: Responses include a note that they were generated by AI. Verify the information before relying on it.

What Ask Boardable Does Not Do

Ask Boardable cannot:

Create, edit, or complete tasks.
Access the document center, discussions, or surveys.

Admin Settings and Conversation Access

Admins control whether Ask Boardable sends proactive emails and whether replies include document attachments or links.

Manage Proactive Emails

Admins choose which members receive proactive emails. Each selected member receives a welcome email introducing Ask Boardable. Ask Boardable respects each member’s email settings.

Members can email ask@boardable.ai at any time, regardless of the proactive email or document delivery settings.

Review Conversations

Admins can view every conversation under Ask Boardable > AI Conversations. Conversations that require an admin’s help are flagged there.
