Add Zoom to Boardable Meeting

Learn how to create a meeting that includes the Zoom link in the Boardable invite, whether the Zoom account is integrated or not.

I. Introduction: Zoom and Boardable Meetings

There are two ways to add a Zoom meeting to Boardable.

The first option is to integrate the Zoom and Boardable accounts. This lets Boardable automatically create a Zoom link for fully published Boardable meetings.

This strategy is recommended for Zoom accounts which are not shared between multiple users.

The second option is to create a Zoom meeting manually, then copy and paste its link into the settings of the Boardable meeting.

This strategy is recommended for Zoom accounts which are shared between multiple users.

II. Add Zoom to Meeting via Integration

To have Boardable automatically create a Zoom meeting from the meeting owner’s account and provide its link:

1. Open Create a Meeting or Edit Meeting menu

2. Under Video Options, click Other Video

   1. Other video dropdown defaults to Zoom

      

3. Connect to Zoom if needed

   1. Click Connect to Zoom

   2. Complete Zoom login prompt in new tab or window

   3. Return to tab or window with Boardable open

4. Accept default Zoom settings, or toggle on advanced options

   

5. Complete remainder of Create a Meeting or Edit Meeting menu as directed in Related Articles.

III. Add Zoom to Meeting without Integration

To include a Zoom link in a Boardable meeting if not integrating a Zoom Account:

1. Create a Zoom meeting, or navigate to an existing Zoom meeting

   1. Zoom meeting settings and information open

2. Copy the URL next to Invite Link

   1. Copy Invitation cannot work for this purpose — it contains more information than just the link

      

3. Return to Boardable and create a Boardable meeting (or edit an existing meeting)

4. Under Video Options, click Other Video

   1. Click Other Video dropdown to expand options

5. Click Other

   

6. Paste the URL copied during step 1 into the URL text box beneath this
