I. Introduction

For most cases, the best way to let new members set up their accounts is to send them an invite via the platform. To learn how to do this, please see Related Articles.

However, some organization invitees may have very strict spam controls, which send Boardable's invite to spam, or bounces it altogether.

We do recommend that new members who experience this issue make Boardable's sending domains trusted, to prevent the same problem from happening with other system messages.

However, as a temporary workaround, there is certainly the option for an admin to directly email these new members an invite link. This message is less likely to be bounced or routed to spam, especially if the sending admin and the new member have corresponded by email previously.

II. Copy Invite Link

To copy a new member's invite link, and send it to them directly:

  1. Click People on the main menu panel

  2. Click Grid View (the button at the top right side of the page showing a square divided into four smaller squares)

  3. Click the Copy invite link button (the button showing a chain) to the right of the new member's name

    1. An invitation link is copied to the clipboard

  4. From a personal email program, write a message to the new member and paste the link copied during step 3 into the body

  5. Send this email

The recipient can then use the link in this email to set their password and access the organization's content. To learn how a new member can set up their account on receipt of an invite link, please see Related Articles.
