I. Invite Guests to a Boardable Spotlight Meeting
Note: only email addresses which do not belong to a current observer, member, or admin can be added to a meeting as a guest
Organization Admins and Meeting Owner / Collaborators can add guests to any meeting.
Organizations on the Grassroots plan can invite up to 2 guests per meeting.
Organizations on the Essentials can invite up to 5 guests per meeting.
Organizations on the Professional, and Enterprise plans have the ability to invite an unlimited number guests to Boardable Spotlight.
To add a guest to a meeting:
For a new meeting, navigate to and complete the first page of Create a meeting form, then click Continue; to learn how to do this, please refer to Related Articles
If editing a new meeting, navigate to the meeting page and click Update People; to learn how to do this, please refer to Related Articles
Click Add guests
List first name and email address in Add guests menu; last name optional
Click Add guest
Click Save
If creating a new meeting, publish the meeting with notifications enabled; to learn how to do this, please refer to Related Articles
If editing an existing meeting in a recurring series:
Make desired Recurring Meetings Settings selection and click Save again; Re-send Meeting Invites menu appears
Ensure guest is listed in Re-send Meeting Invites menu
Click Send
If editing an existing single-date meeting:
II. Join a Spotlight Meeting as a Guest
To join a Spotlight meeting as a guest:
Look for an email invitation to the meeting from Boardable
If this is the first meeting the guest has joined:
Click the second link contained by this email, labeled Before you can join this meeting you will have to create a user login through this invitation link.
Create Guest Login menu opens
Email address field defaults to invited address and cannot be changed
Type desired password
Click Create account and join meeting
If this is not the first meeting the guest has joined:
Click the first link contained by this email, labeled Join
Log in with the username and previously saved password, or use an alternate login option (for more on this, please see Related Articles)
