Note: Board Packet Quick Print is available to organizations on the Professional and Enterprise Plan. Visit our website to learn more about our features and plans.

How it Works

In order to create a board packet, you first have to build your agenda and add files to specific items within your agenda.

Visit this Help Article to learn how to build your agenda and board packet.

After you have added relevant meeting files to your agenda, follow these steps below:

Click on the Board Packet button to begin to generate your board packet. This will create one printable PDF of all the files added to your agenda.

Depending on your file size and internet connection, the board packet could take a few minutes to generate.

When your board packet is ready, a pop-up window will appear. Within the pop-up are two buttons, an Open All button to view a PDF version of your board packet, and a Quick Print button to print your board packet if necessary.

Board Packet PDF Success and Failure Tool Tips

Within the pop-up window are success and failure icons to help provide insight into which files were compiled successfully or failed.

The three indicators are:

  • The checkmark

  • The red exclamation point

  • The red lock

Let's dive into what each indicator means.

The Checkmark

The checkmark indicates the PDF was successfully added to the board packet.

The Exclamation Point

Error Message: This could not be converted to PDF

This message occurs in the following two scenarios:

  • The file is read only

  • The file is password protected

How to fix it:

The Board Packet Quick Print feature currently does not support read only or password protected files, and will not include those files in the board packet if they have those restrictions. If you would like to add the file to your board packet, open the original file and remove the read only permission settings or the password.

The Lock

Error Message: The permissions for this file restricts merging into the board packet

This message occurs in the following scenario:

  • The file is password protected

How to fix it:

The Board Packet Quick Print feature currently does not support password protected files, and will not include those files in the board packet if they have those restrictions. If you would like to add the file to your board packet, open the original file and remove the password.

Pro Tip: If you are unable to remove the password or change the file from Read Only, give meeting attendees the ability to view the file by adding it to the Documents / Supplemental Documents on the meeting page.
