I. Introduction to Document Center Organization
The Document Center supports five great options to keep documents organized and easily findable:
Drag and drop
Sort by name
Sort by date
Star
II. Sort Files by Name or Date
Note: file order reverts to Default between Document Center visits.
To sort files alphabetically, or by date of upload:
Click Sort by at the top of the document list
Click the preferred sorting option
Display order of files and folders updates to match the option selected
III. Drag and Drop
Note: display order created during drag and drop becomes the default for all users; this remains constant between Document Center visits.
To drag a folder or document to a new location in the list:
Hover the mouse over the name of the document or folder to be moved
The cursor becomes a plus sign
Click and drag the cursor while holding down the mouse button until the desired location is reached
Release the mouse button
IV. Folders: Edit, Download, Move, or Delete
Note: Members can edit or delete only folders they created; administrators can edit or delete all folders, including those created by other users.
To edit the description, name, or visibility of a folder:
Navigate to the Document Center
Click on the three dots next to the folder name
Options drop down
Click Edit
The Edit Folder menu pops out
To edit the folder name:
To edit the description:
To limit visibility:
To make visibility unlimited:
Click Everyone
Bubble next to Everyone fills in
Click Save
To download a folder:
Navigate to the Document Center
Click on the three dots next to the folder name
Options drop down
Click Download
To move a folder:
Navigate to the Document Center
Click on the three dots next to the folder name
Click Move
The Move Folder menu pops out
To nest folder within another folder:
To move a nested folder out of its parent folder and into the Document Center home:
Click Home
Text at bottom of the Move Folder menu (shown in image below with a red box) displays selected location
Click Move
V. Files: Download, Open, Move, and Delete
Note: administrators can move and delete all files; members can move or delete only those files they have uploaded.
To edit the name or description of a document:
Navigate to the Document Center
Click the three dots next to a file name
Click Edit
The Document Info menu pops out
To edit the name:

To download a file in its original format, without annotations, from the Document Center:
Click the three dots next to a file name
Click Download
To move a document:
Navigate to the Document Center
Click the three dots next to a file name
Click Move
The Move Document menu pops out
To move a document to a folder:
To move a document to the Document Center home:
To delete a file:
Navigate to the Document Center
Click the three dots next to a file name
Click Delete
Confirmation prompt pops out
Click OK
VI. Files: Star
Note: only individual documents can be starred; folders cannot be starred.
To mark files as important using stars:
To quickly view all starred documents:
Click Starred at top of Document Center
